Jenny Dyson ^{flute/piccolo}

Jenny is an un­der­graduate stu­dent at The Uni­ver­sity of Manchester and is cur­rently in her second year studying the flute with Richard Davis. She reg­u­larly sits as prin­cipal of the Uni­ver­sity of Manchester Sym­phony Or­chestra and par­ti­cip­ates in Vag­anza, the University’s leading New Music en­semble. Chamber music is a pas­sion of hers, playing with the Azure En­semble, a wind quintet formed in September 2009.

Jon Guy ^{cla­ri­nets}

Jon is cur­rently an un­der­graduate stu­dent at the Uni­ver­sity of Manchester, studying for a MusB in music and learning cla­rinet with Chris Swann of the RNCM. He is an en­thu­si­astic per­former with other in­terests in­cluding com­pos­i­tion and world music.

Rob Guy ^viola

Rob is cur­rently a post­graduate stu­dent at the Royal Northern Col­lege of Music, studying viola with Louise Lans­down, where he plays with the Med­lock String Quartet. He is also an en­thu­si­astic con­ductor working in a wide range of rep­er­toire and with a variety of age groups. (www.robert-guy.com)

Chris­topher Jones ^vi­olin

Chris­topher Jones has played the vi­olin for 17 years, and has been an avid chamber mu­si­cian for the past 12. He studied with An­nalee Pa­tipatana­koon (Gryphon Trio) in Toronto and Jonathan Crow (Su­per­nova Quartet) in Montreal, gradu­ating with an Hon. B.Mus. from Mc­Gill Uni­ver­sity. He has also had tu­telage or mas­ter­classes with James Ehnes, Gabor Takacs, Mark Fewer, Scott St.John, Mal­colm Lay­field, Petr Prause, Levon Chilling­irian, Philip and David Ying, and Steve Dann among others. Chris­topher is cur­rently pur­suing his studies on schol­ar­ship with Pavel Fischer at the Royal Northern Col­lege of Music.

Mi­chael Jones ^vi­olin

Mi­chael is cur­rently in his second year reading music at The Uni­ver­sity of Manchester where he is studying the vi­olin with Julia Hanson. Re­cently he has lead the Uni­ver­sity of Manchester Sym­phony Or­chestra and Sin­foni­etta. He also en­joys playing with The Tower Quartet and reg­u­larly per­forms with Vag­anza.

Anna Men­zies ^cello

Anna gradu­ated in 2009 from the Guild­hall School of Music and is cur­rently con­tinuing her studies at the Royal Northern Col­lege of Music, where she plays with the Med­lock String Quartet. As well as her activ­ities as a per­former, Anna has a strong in­terest in com­pos­i­tion and has re­cently written for the London Chamber Or­chestra. She teaches at the Ye­hudi Menuhin School in London.

Steve Pycroft ^drums

Steve is a drummer and composer/producer based in Manchester, UK. He re­cently com­pleted a Mas­ters in com­pos­i­tion at the Uni­ver­sity of Manchester, achieving a dis­tinc­tion, where, in 2008 he also achieved a first class hon­ours de­gree in music. Steve plays and writes a wide variety of styles, from or­ches­tral to dub­step. He has played at various venues around the world with the Riot Jazz Brass Band.
